The Aurora Theatre presents "Crazy for You!" at Lawrenceville’s fourth annual Prelude to the Fourth celebration to be held on the Historic Courthouse lawn. An adaptation of the George and Ira Gershwin 1930 hit "Girl Crazy", "Crazy for You is crammed with favorites like "I Got Rhythm" and "Embraceable You." Come delight in the adventures of a stage-struck playboy in a Nevada mining town -- where love, mistaken identities, and show-stopping musical numbers all add up to irresistible fun.
Families and friends can enjoy free lawn seating or rent tables and order catering packages from local restaurants on the eve of Independence Day. Tables for six are available for rental for only 150 dollars by contacting the LTTA office at

Performance begins at 7:30 p.m. with lawn seating available starting at 5:30 p.m.

| More than 70,000 Gwinnett residents and friends celebrated the Fourth of July at the Gwinnett Glows celebration last year at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville. This years event will be moved to the Historic Courthouse Square in Downtown Lawrenceville. The event features arts and crafts, free children's activities, and a live band. Children can enjoy clowns, face painting, a fire juggler, trackless train rides, rock climbing wall, pony rides, and live appearances from some of their favorite characters. |
